Continuing our series on speakers from Under One Roof were stepping away a bit from the Friday Hobby Show by speaking to Winnie Furnari a forensic dental hygienist. Winnie Furnari, RDH, MS, FAADH, is an Associate Professor and Assistant Clinical Director at New York University College of Dentistry and teaches Forensic Dentistry/Bioterrorism Preparedness and Ethics. She was awarded the Pfizer/ADHA Award of Excellence, the ADHA Distinguished Service Award, RDH/Philips Mentor of Distinction and both national and international recognitions. She has had extensive Forensic Education. She is involved in several research initiatives and professional organizations. Since 2010 she has served as ADHA's liaison to National Diabetes Education Program's – PPOD Task Force and is listed as an author of the NDEP publication Working Together to Manage Diabetes
